Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Combine warm milk, granulated sugar, and yeast in a small bowl. Let it bloom for 5 to 10 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, remaining sugar, melted butter, eggs, and salt. Add the activated yeast mixture and mix until smooth.
  3. Transfer dough to a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour until doubled.
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle and spread cherry pie filling on top, leaving a small border.
  5. Roll the dough tightly from one edge to form a log and slice into 1¾-inch pieces.
  6. Place rolls in a greased pan, cover with a towel, and let them rise for 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and bake rolls for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
